It was a rare gift to join so many heroes last night to celebrate and honour the one and only @tajmahalblues with @SweetRelief. Taj’s work has broadened and deepened my understanding of blues music, and within 2 minutes of speaking with the man, you’d quickly understand he has a professorial knowledge of music, its history and the roots we are all nourished from. What can be said but THANK YOU. This year of touring has brought the band, crew and I across the US, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, the UK, Germany and my home, Ireland, with many more countries in 2023 and 2024.
