Brady Ruth grew up playing soccer, and after one game in 6th grade he went into Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Brady’s heart rate hit 237 beats per minute, and doctors had to use shocks to bring it back to normal.

Through the electrocardiogram (EKG) provided at this screening, Brogan was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome - one of the leading causes of sudden cardiac arrest in young athletes. Brogan went on to have surgery to correct this defect and remains active in sports.
