Every flake tells a story! Our new paper shows that the byproducts of stone tool maintenance hold clues to ancient decision-making. We introduce a new five-module system (M0–M4) that uncovers how prehistoric people maintained their tools. rdcu.be/eRutD Check it!

Let's go @DavidC_Nora !👏
This week I will be attending the 7th CONEXP in Liége, organized by @traceolab. I will be talking about how experimental archaeology can show hints about the efficiency of Lithic Raw Materials. @ICArEHB @TraCErMONREPOS @HumEnDyLAB

The first week of excavations and stratigraphic documentation at Dalarik-1 Cave was very successful! The trip to Kalavan village - and the homonymous Palaeolithic sites - was the best treat for a day-off! A stop at Gutanasar volcano was a must! @HumEnDyLAB #TransCause
