Say hello to handsome OLIVER who is a four year old mastiff/pitbull mix canine. Although he's quite large in size, he's really just a big, sweet baby! He's extremely smart and knows a lot of basic commands but can most likely be taught many more!

He loves kong toys that are filled with treats and he also must be part cat because he enjoys playing with laser pointers. He does get a little nervous around strangers, specifically males so needless to say he's more of a ladies' man!

He would do best in a home without males (either human or animal) but if an adoptive home has a male member, Oliver would just need a little time to warm up to him. Please give this gentle giant a chance to b e part of your family! CALL the Humane Society of Rome at 315-336-6870

I'm Gabe, a 3-year-old male, orange-and-white tiger feline. I am quite the adventurous cat currently located at the shelter. I am super sweet and loving and would do very well in a home with children. I am sort of like a big furry kid myself as I have a ton of energy & love play.

I would enjoy living in a home with those furr-less little ones (kids)! I don’t have any issues with dogs but if a potential person, couple or family wishes to have me ‘dog tested’ I am quite OK with that. Oh, and another thing that I absolutely love, love is getting treats!
