Have you seen a porcupine climb a tree before? We've had lots of sightings here, especially on the Red Oak and Crane Trails. To find one, look up into the tree tops to find trees that have been stripped of their bark on the top.
Have you been spotting blue rabbit pee? Blue rabbit pee is caused by rabbits eating the invasive buckthorn, which may indicate that the rabbits are running low on food. The pee starts off yellow and then turns blue due to a chemical reaction with the sun.

It's snow flea season! Don't worry: snow fleas don't bite. They aren't actually fleas at all, but are arthropods called springtails. They eat dead organic matter like fallen leaves. Check around the base of a tree on a warm winter day to spot them!
