WHERE IS MR. PATRICK OKIRING AND SAMSON AGUPIO?
In July 2017, the @ACHPR issued its decision in respect to communication 339/2007 by @HurinetU & @Isis WICCE against the Government of Uganda. However, as we celebrate the landmark decision, where are the the two torture victims?

The African Commission on Human & People’s Rights found a violation of Articles 6, 7 & 26 & ordered the gov’t to compensate the complainants, revise the UDPF law, train its military on human rights, & report back on measures taken to implement the decision
The communication in question was brought on behalf of Patrick Okiring & Samson Agupio by @HurinetU & @IsisWICCE against the gov’t of Uganda in response to the acts of security forces being in violation of Articles 5, 6, & 7 of the Africa Charter of Human & People’s Rights (cont)
