Question for men: What do you spend money on? My wife has pointed out that I only spend money on: 1. Software subscriptions 2. Coffee She asked me why I never buy anything ‘fun’ and I had no answer. There’s nothing I want.

Why do people care so much? Man, I've NEVER seen someone hate a president this much in my lifetime. Ever. He'll be hanging out in box seats away from the fans. As a 15 year Knicks fan, I'm honestly just thrilled we're in the finals. I don't care that Trump or Zohran will be there. Why do you?
Man Trump visiting MSG for Game 3 tonight is really messing with the vibe.

Instantly and HeyReach are neat tools but you’re delusional if you think they’ll take you from $0 to $1,000,000 overnight. You’ve been lied to. GTM isn’t plug-and-play. Sending 100, 1000, 10000, 100000, 10000000, or 10000000 messages doesn’t automatically fix your outbound. Seems like every new tool is focusing on volume ‘personalization’ with AI. This should ONLY be layer of your GTM. Not the whole thing. We use similar tools at Erudite. But only for our tier 3 account list. For tier 1/2 prospecting, we use: 1. Bitscale (list building) 2. Floqer (workflows) 3. Exa (acct research) 4. Serper (scraping) 5. Trellus (dialer) 6. Replit (in-house tech) 7. Attio (heavyweight CRM) 8. Kondo (superhuman for LI) 9. InboxApp (superhuman for X) 10. LeadDelta (LinkedIn lightweight CRM) And a bunch more. If you want to launch a GTM motion, you have to think beyond what 99% of outbound gurus teach you on X.

Imagine hiring a ghostwriter who only writes about other people in tech. As a client, would that be worth it? This appears to be a new meta. Been seeing my peers adopt this - especially for smaller accounts. Why? What's the point? There's a 0% chance this brings his clients new business. Getting impressions for the sake of it is pretty lame.

Ori hands down has the best cold calling/outbound content on X.

any lack of polish now gets equated to ai slop all fields: software bugs, bad movie, bad video game before the audience would make a judgement about your skills, which was tolerable because you can get better now they make a judgement about your character (lazy/fraud/etc)

Kind of a waste of time Why not build one really good thing and market it?
Indie hackers collect failed projects until one changes their life.

Nothing upsets me more than losing to a competitor who fails to deliver. Finding a good content marketer is tough. Things they should know: - your product - your origin story - your differentiating features - your competitors and partners - how to turn customer insights to posts - how to create storytelling elements And a whole lot more. To be frank: I compete against 4 (maybe 5) other agencies on each sales call. At least 3 of them are handing their clients 100% AI written slop that gets amplified in engagement pods filled with users outside of your ICP and market. So what’s the point? It feels great getting 500 likes on each post. But it doesn’t matter if it isn’t real.

Agency owners in tech love to brag about 'working with startups.' It's not really a flex. Anyone can work with startups if you're cheap enough. It's impossible to scale an agency when all of your clients are bootstrappers expecting unrealistic returns.

We're thinking about hiring 2 content writers at Erudite. Interested? Here's what your first 90 days will look like a secret to landing the role: [FIRST 90 DAYS] This isn't for the faint of heart. You're forbidden to use AI in any capacity during the 3-month period. Nada. Zero. And if I get a whiff of GPT in your writing, you're out. You'll need to learn our style, spend 1-on-1 time with me and our best writer, and be 3 days ahead of deadline on every project. [HOW TO LAND THE ROLE] Head to EruditeAgency[.]io ➝ Find a place to apply (HINT: we don't have a careers page) ➝ Send me a post that mentions a chicken, a coffee pot, and GTM engineering [SALARY] Unpaid for first 2 weeks. After that, it's $35K/yr
