Just before 3 a.m. Friday, Vancouver Fire responded to a 3rd-floor apt fire at 4503 E 5th St.Fire under control in ~30 mins. Sadly, 1 adult was found deceased. ~20 people displaced. No other injuries. Fire Marshal investigating. Crews remain on scene.

This year's Local 452 "Battle of the Badges" Blood Drive will be held on July 19th from 9am to 3pm at City Hall - Aspen Room located at 415 W 6th St, Vancouver, WA. Red Cross had told me that they will secure free parking for all donors.
