ALT Death Notification Architect Jawett Dzimwasha 20/01/64 – 22/08/22 It is with deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of one of our members, Architect Jawett Dzimwasha, who passed away on the 22nd of August 2022. Architect Dzimwasha was a renowned and respected Architect who ran a well-established architectural practice in Harare, Zimbabwe. His architectural career spanned over 30 years both locally and internationally, a period which saw him contributed immensely to the built environment in both the public and private sector. Architect Dzimwasha served on several boards, notably, the Institute of Architects of Zimbabwe Board, becoming its president from 1998 to 1999. He later returned to the Board in 2020 and served as the Deputy Chairman of Council until 2021. He is survived by his wife Bridget, his sons Shingirai, Rodney,Eltonand his daughter Lorah. His death is a great loss to his family, his friends, colleagues, the construction industry andthe business community.
