IBLRG is made up of volunteers from a transport background, most of which don't actually live on the Brigg line.
Our job is to increase footfall to demonstrate a case for a better rail service for Brigg and Kirton-in-Lindsey.
We are not associated with, or support NNLCRP.

a one off special @northernassist service will run between Sheffield Midland and Cleethorpes via Brigg.
This is in collaboration with the very popular Armed Forces Day in Cleethorpes.

Brigg station..definitely one of the most austere I have visited in the shire.
It opened on 1 November 1848 by the Great Grimsby and Sheffield Junction Railway and now sees one train in either direction Monday to Friday operated by Northern.
@IBLRG do a great job promoting it.

RIP KEITH GODLEY
It has come as a shock to all of us, that sadly Keith Godley ex Sheffield based Northern Rail and Brigg line guard from Chesterfield passed away yesterday afternoon.
In retirement he continue volunteering at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and Peak Rail.
