Our Kindergarteners have talked about the Function of Community Helpers. Function is one of our Key Concepts. Thank you to our Community Helpers for coming in to talk to our Kindergarteners about what they do and how they help our community.

We are wrapping up our first unit. During this Unit our fifth graders talked about the Key Concept, Change, through learning about Chemical and Physical Changes. Was this Elephant Toothpaste a Physical or Chemical Change? How did it transform?

IB has six Transdisciplinary Unit Themes that we will go through this year. Our first unit is Who We Are. In this unit we study different beliefs and values,social and spiritual health,and human relationships. Here are some of our Central Ideas we will study:
