Hello everyone! 🌟 We received a total of 637 submissions in response to the Call for Papers, which closed at the end of September. Following the review process, the results were sent to the applicants on December 15. Here, we would like to share an overview of the results. 📢 In total, 402 abstracts were accepted from 47 countries and regions. Although we initially planned for up to 240 accepted abstracts based on the expected number of concurrent sessions, due to the large number of applications, we secured additional venues and decided to significantly increase the number of sessions. By region, the accepted abstracts are as follows: Asia 170 (including 118 from Japan), Europe 101, North America 51, Oceania 34, Latin America 25, and Africa 19. This broad distribution ensures a truly global program with presentations from around the world. By main and sub-subject, the topics are diverse: Life Insurance 90, Non-Life Insurance 66, Pensions and Social Security 51, Data Science/AI 48, Health 39, ERM 37, Professionalism/Actuarial Education 30, Investments and Finance 28, and Actuarial Consulting 13. Congratulations to all those whose papers were accepted! Hello everyone! 🌟 We are excited to share the status of submissions for the Call for Papers, which closed at the end of September. 🔹Call for Papers Submissions We received 637 submissions, more than in past congresses in Berlin and Sydney. Thank you to everyone who submitted!🙌 Submissions came from a total of 59 countries and regions, including Asia-Oceania, North America, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. This shows that ICA2026 is attracting strong interest from around the world. 👥 Furthermore, we received submissions across a wide range of fields, including Life Insurance, Non-Life Insurance, Pensions/Social Security, and more. We expect lively cross-disciplinary discussions at ICA2026. Notably, the Data Science/AI subject received as many submissions as Pensions/Social Security, ranking just behind Life and Non-Life Insurance, demonstrating significant interest in this subject. Currently, submissions are under review by the IAA Section representatives and IAJ Scientific Subcommittee members.
