🚨FDA Vaccine Committee Members Betray the Public Yet Again and Recommend Updated Formula for COVID Vaccines
ICAN’s legal team submitted written and oral comments at the most recent VRBPAC meeting, reminding FDA’s vaccine committee of the extensive harms already caused by COVID-19 vaccines.
The committee barely discussed safety and still recommended an updated strain for the 2026-27 winter season.

Americans are told to “ask your doctor” about prescription drugs after watching TV ads that often spend more time selling the promise than clearly explaining the risks.
@ICANdecide is now pressing the FDA to change that.
In a letter to the agency, ICAN Lead Attorney @AaronSiriSG urged the FDA to require direct-to-consumer pharmaceutical advertisements to disclose all known risks associated with a drug, biologic, or medical device, not just the major ones selected for the ad.
The request comes as federal officials revisit pharmaceutical advertising standards, but ICAN argues the problem goes deeper than a return to prior rules. If companies are allowed to market medical products directly to patients, ICAN says those ads must fairly and equally disclose the risks along with the benefits.
ICAN also sent proposed revisions to the CDC’s vaccine contraindications and precautions guidance, the page doctors and clinicians rely on when determining whether a patient may qualify for a medical exemption.
The proposed changes would require patients to be screened before each vaccine dose for all absolute and relative contraindications, warnings, and precautions, including those listed in vaccine package inserts and vaccine information statements.
The issue is simple: patients cannot give informed consent if risks are minimized, buried, or left out. Doctors also cannot make proper exemption decisions if federal guidance discourages caution or frames missed vaccination as the greater concern.

ICAN submitted a letter nominating four vaccine ingredients, aluminum, mercury, formaldehyde, and phenol, for federal toxicology review by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry. All four are present in vaccines on the CDC's recommended childhood schedule. None have ever been evaluated for the specific exposure route they are administered through: injection.
That letter exists because of this community.
The matching donation is live through the end of June. $250,000 has been raised so far against a $1.5 million match. The foundational work being done right now, in courtrooms, in federal agencies, and in the scientific record, is the kind that outlasts any single administration.

🚨 ICAN has sent a letter with proposed updates to CDC’s list of vaccine contraindications and precautions.
CDC’s “Contraindications and Precautions” page provides guidance to clinicians about when CDC deems it appropriate, and when it deems it not appropriate, to administer a vaccine to a patient. Doctors and state health authorities often rely upon this guidance when deciding whether to grant a medical exemption.
Over the years, the list of contraindications and precautions for vaccination has gotten smaller and more detached from reality. In fact, CDC went so far as to create a long list of conditions that should not be considered reasons to avoid vaccination.
ICAN asked our legal team to review the current list and update it to at least somewhat reflect reality.

🚨FOIA documents obtained by @ICANdecide have exposed a 2019 presentation by NYU bioethicist Dr. Arthur Caplan to the National Vaccine Advisory Committee that laid out a deliberate strategy to eliminate vaccine exemptions through coercion, mandates, and public shaming.
Caplan opened his presentation with a disclosure of his financial ties to multiple pharmaceutical companies. He then acknowledged in his own slides that facts alone are not enough to increase vaccination rates and that facts sometimes look weaker than they should, a quiet admission that the science was not doing the persuasion work on its own.
His solution was to guilt hesitators, frame unvaccinated people as selfish and bad neighbors, and push every remaining state to eliminate non-medical exemptions using California's SB 277 as the model. He described parental beliefs as "bogus values" that should not override public health decisions.
This is who public health authorities were consulting with, on the taxpayer's dime, when they designed the policies that stripped parents of their rights. The presentation is now public.

🚨The CDC's own criteria say vaccines that are unlikely to have population-level impact should only be recommended through shared clinical decision-making, where a doctor and patient weigh the choice together. @ICANdecide has sent a letter to the CDC making a straightforward argument: apply that standard consistently.

🛑DTaP, Tdap, IPV, and MenACWY do not meaningfully prevent transmission, a fact supported by the evidence in the letter including an FDA briefing document from September 2024 confirming that acellular pertussis vaccines fail to prevent colonization and carriage.
🛑 HPV vaccine is almost exclusively transmitted through sexual contact, and the vast majority of 11-year-olds face no meaningful near-term exposure risk, making a one-size-fits-all routine recommendation for every child that age difficult to justify.
🛑Influenza vaccination during pregnancy involves widely varying clinical circumstances, prior vaccine reactions, and trimester-specific considerations that make a blanket routine recommendation inappropriate without individualized counseling.

Here is what changed:

🚨 CDC QUIETLY REWRITES ITS AUTISM PAGE
After years of insisting that “vaccines do not cause autism,” the CDC has now updated its own website to admit the evidence was never there.
The new language acknowledges:
• Studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism.
• Research showing a possible link has been ignored by health authorities.
• Past CDC statements denying any connection were not evidence based and violated the Data Quality Act.
• There are still no studies supporting the claim that the 20 doses of infant vaccines in the first year of life do not cause autism.
• Even the MMR studies cited for years have serious methodological flaws.
ICAN spent years demanding these studies through FOIA requests, lawsuits, and depositions. The response was always the same. The studies do not exist.
Today, CDC is finally starting to correct the record.

🚨 BOMBSHELL: CDC NOW ADMITS SCIENCE LACKING BEHIND CLAIM 'VACCINES DO NOT CAUSE AUTISM'
This is the culmination of more than 6 years of work for @icandecide, which sued the CDC in 2020 to remove the unscientific claim from its website. This represents vindication for the 40-70% of Autism Parents in America who have been marginalized because of that unsupported claim.
Now the website admits:
"The claim 'vaccines do not cause autism' is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism."
"Studies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities."
"Scientific studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines contribute to the development of autism. However, this statement has historically been disseminated by the CDC and other federal health agencies within HHS to prevent vaccine hesitancy."
"Multiple reports from HHS and the National Academy of Sciences ... have consistently concluded that there are still no studies that support the specific claim that the infant vaccines, DTaP, HepB, Hib, IPV, and PCV, do not cause autism and hence the CDC was in violation of the Data Quality Act when it claimed, 'vaccines do not cause autism.' CDC is now correcting the statement, and HHS is providing appropriate funding and support for studies related to infant vaccines and autism."
"Of note, the 2014 Agency for Health Research and Quality review also addressed the HepB vaccine and autism. One cross-sectional study met criteria for reliability; it found a threefold risk of parental report of autism among newborns receiving a HepB vaccine in the first month of life compared to those who did not receive this vaccine or did so after the first month."
"In fact, there are still no studies that support the claim that any of the 20 doses of the seven infant vaccines recommended for American children before the first year of life do not cause autism. These vaccines include DTaP, HepB, Hib, IPV, PCV, rotavirus, and influenza."
As for the MMR vaccine, CDC's website now says: "In 2012, the IOM reviewed the published MMR-autism studies and found that all but four of them had 'serious methodological limitations,' and the IOM gave them no weight. The remaining four studies and a few similar studies published since also have all been criticized for serious methodological flaws. Furthermore, they are all retrospective epidemiological studies which cannot prove causation, fail to account for potential vulnerable subgroups, and fail to account for mechanistic and other evidence linking vaccines with autism."

At the Senate hearing on September 9, @AaronSiriSG addressed the claim that “Vaccines have saved an estimated 154 million lives globally over 50 years.”
As stated in @AaronSiriSG Substack, this claim comes from an advertising report by the World Health Organization, one in which there is no confidence interval, meaning this figure is "fabricated guesswork" and explained (buried) in the paper in a section titled "Uncertainty of estimates", explaining it cannot pout "bounds around the veracity of the estimates" and that any "bounds are arbitrary".
DTP (based on real-world data) kills more children than it saves. Children receiving DTP died at 10 times the rate as those who received no vaccines in the first six months of life.
Several studies (all cited in Siri's Substack) show that those who had measles were less likely to die of various cancers and those who had measles and mumps died at a far lower rate of cardiovascular disease than those who never had measles and mumps!
Siri's conclusion: "the WHO’s advertising report, masquerading as science, epitomizes the corruption of science regarding vaccines. Overstating the benefits of vaccines is just as dangerous as overstating their risks. Doing so deprives the policy makers, medical professionals, and the public of the ability to make rational, informed, decisions regarding these products."
