A tribute to Professor Dr.Michael Manns 1951-2025 It is with profound sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Professor Dr.Michael Manns, President of the MedizinischeHochschule Hannover in Germany. Prof. Dr.Michael Manns is a cherished member of our Advisory Board of the Institute of Digestive Disease, CUHK and our Keynote speaker at IDDF 2015. He was an extraordinary leader, esteemed scientist, and dedicated mentor whose contributions to the field of digestive disease have left an indelible mark. His pioneering research, tireless commitment to advancing medical knowledge, and compassionate approach to patient care inspired colleagues and students alike. IDD extends deepest condolences and prayers to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know him. His contributions will continue to guide us as we strive to enhance medical care. Prof. Dr.Michael Manns will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered for his significant impact in the medical field.
