.@IDLO was pleased to join #RomeNutritionWeek2026, where the impact of our Global RECAP Programme was showcased during the session, “Delivering as One: Accountable Action for Healthier Food Environments, Nutrition, and NCD Reduction.” The event provided an important opportunity to highlight the critical nexus between health, food security, and the rule of law. Together with @un_ncd, @WHO, @FAO, @UNICEF, @UNDP, @UN_Nutrition, @SwissDevCoop, @Ambrasile, and @It1Bangladeshin, we co-organised this event on accelerating action towards healthier food systems, while sharing country experiences and lessons learned from Bangladesh, Brazil, and Ghana.

This week, we joined @UNIDROITorg for its governing council and contributed to a workshop on transnational law and the cooperation of international organisations, held as part of its centenary celebrations. Together with partners from the international legal community, we explored how international organizations can collaborate more and shared our own experience in turning legal norms and standards into practical rule of law solutions.

Today marks four years since the establishment of the Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group for Ukraine (ACA), created to advance accountability for atrocity crimes in the context of Russia’s ongoing war of aggression against Ukraine. IDLO is proud to be part of this collective effort, which aims to ensure effective coordination of support. We do this by providing advice and assistance to central and regional prosecutors and investigators, delivering technical support on legislative and policy matters, among other activities. The meaningful participation and leadership of women in justice systems must be prioritized. Their inclusion is essential to strengthening the legitimacy of international legal standards and to making justice more accessible, fair and representative.
