Ivory Coast and Ecuador are solid sides. Wouldn’t be surprised to see both going through a round or two.

Love this from Pats and it’s something I’d like to see across the LOI. The importance of making our Domestic Footballers household names for kids across the country can’t be overstated. And stuff like sticker books and trading cards would be an exceptional way of achieving it.
Our St Patrick’s Athletic Sticker Albums have landed back in stock in our Super Saints Store & Red Hut Shop & will be available at Richmond Park tonight & via our website The books are €10 while sticker packs are €2 each or three for €5 ▶️ st-patricks-athletic-fc.sumu… #StPatsFC 🔴⚪️

Arsenal are set to sign Northern Ireland U17 goalkeeper Phoenix Blayney from Larne FC, with the deal now confirmed by multiple sources including the Belfast Telegraph. The 15 year old, born in November 2010, had trials with both Arsenal and Liverpool, with the latter also keen on securing his signature. However Blayney has chosen to join the Gunners, where he will be part of their U16 setup. Blayney had previously been named on the bench for Larne in the UEFA Youth League and impressed during a trial spell at Arsenal including during the recent Liam Brady Cup. He will face competition at Arsenal from Charlie Phillips and Max Lo Presti, two other goalkeepers set to be in the U16 group this season.

A lovely touch from Shamrock Rovers as they presented Josh Holme with this jersey following his final training session at the club. Josh has recently moved to England with his family, bringing an end to his time in the Shamrock Rovers academy. Never easy for a young player to leave behind teammates, coaches, friends and a club that has played such an important role in his development, but football often takes players on unexpected journeys. I’ve been made aware of significant interest in Josh from a number of clubs in England, with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Aston Villa among those understood to have monitored his progress. However, my understanding is that no agreement has been reached with any club at this stage. What is certain is that Josh leaves Ireland with an excellent reputation and after receiving fantastic support from everyone at Shamrock Rovers. This gesture is another example of the class the club has shown throughout his development. Change is never easy, especially at such a young age, but hopefully this next chapter brings plenty of happiness and success both on and off the pitch.
