Great News!
A new life in the heart of Bwindi🥳🥳 The Mishaya Gorilla Family in Rushaga has welcomed a newborn baby, bringing the family’s number to 10 members. Born to Bashekura, this newest addition is a wonderful milestone for the family and a reminder of the importance of protecting these endangered giants and the habitats they call home. #ExploreUganda | #ConservationSuccess

Thank you for your constructive feedback. Plans are underway and we will communicate soon!
this is commendable work being done. my concern however is one, is there a plan for igcp and other stakeholders to bring such trainings to kigali since there are a lot of tour operators these ends? i believe it will also be great to train them on ways to stay safe in these times.

Biodiversity matters! #Mountaingorillas don’t live alone. Their forest shelters bird species, beautiful plants, elephants, duikers, bushbucks, golden cats, servals, jackals & more! By protecting biodiversity, we protect gorillas & their habitat! Happy #BiodiversityDay

The #mountaingorilla population is low unlike other species, gorillas have not reached their carrying capacity, every individual life is important for the welfare & sustainability of the population : Gorilla Doctor, Bernard Ssebidde. Protect one gorilla, protect every gorilla!

Tiny hands, big joy in Virunga 🦍💚 Congrats Katuku & Bageni family!

They share 98% of our DNA. They mourn, They laugh, They fiercely shield their babies. There are just about 1063 #mountaingorillas left on Earth. Every single one counts. On #EndangeredSpeciesDay, protecting a gorilla means protecting forests, families & futures!
