Happy Global Accessibility Awareness Day! We’re committed to providing accessible content. Disabled people and those with impairments shouldn’t need to take action to content to make it accessible – it should be accessible from the start. #GAAD #GlobalAccessibilityAwarenessDay

Some people can’t see images clearly – which is why we use Alt Text (alternative text) on images on our website and socials. It just provides a description of your photo or image so that someone who is blind or has a visual impairment can be included in the conversation. #GAAD

A simple way to make your social media posts more accessible is to use camel Case in your hashtags. If you hashtag with no capital letters it can just be a big line of text. #GAAD #GlobalAccessibilityAwarenessDay #Accessibility #AccessibilityTip

One of the simplest ways to be more accessible is to ensure that you don’t use all caps. People use visual cues to read and all caps take up the same amount of space as each other, meaning that it’s more difficult and tiring to read. #GAAD #AccessibilityTip #Caps
