For the 50th Anniversary of the Special Olympics, IMPD was able to raise over $4500 for the Special Olympics athletes in Indiana.

Unable to coax a baby kitten stuck underneath their car - this young couple drove to Station 1 around 4 PM today for help. Without hesitation these Feline Friendly FF “Detectives” sprang into action, found the lil guy stuck atop the fuel tank & promptly named him “Muffler”

IMPD East District Late shift was welcomed by residents on Larnie Ln tonight. The kids enjoyed playing with the lights in the police car. Thanks to Recruit Officers Wells, Harris, Harvey and Powell. They all started their FTO phase this week
