VIDEO | Delhi: During a press conference, Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge (@PriyankKharge) says, “Mohan Bhagwat said, 'Are we doing anything in secret? We are doing it openly in the name of the Sangh.' I am asking the very same thing. If it is being done in the name of the Sangh, then what exactly is the Sangh? Who are the people behind it? Where does your money come from? That is what I am asking too. He is saying the same thing, and we are saying the same thing."
He added, “My association with them (RSS) goes back a long way. I have become Home Minister (Karnataka) just a week ago. Earlier, I was asking informally; now I am asking officially. Mohan Bhagwat has not replied to this letter. His response was given in Thrissur on June 13, and my letter was, of course, dated June 13 as well. However, it was released yesterday and dispatched yesterday, on June 15."
He further added, “In India, such security is provided to the Home Minister, the Minister of External Affairs, and the Defence Minister. Who provides security to Mohan Bhagwat ji? And from whose money is it provided? Taxpayers' money, isn't it?...The threat assessment is not done by me; it is done by the Central Government. If they believe the security should continue, then let it continue. But what I am asking is: what exactly is the level of threat?”

₹4 lakh crore sounds generous, until you realize it's just one year of what Karnataka sends to Delhi.
The real number that matters isn't what Karnataka received. It's that its share of the tax pool was slashed from 4.713% to 3.647%, the steepest cut of any state, costing over ₹80,000 crore.
15 paise back for every rupee given. Lowest in India.
That's not "looked after." That's being shortchanged while being thanked for it.
There is a narrative floated by the State govt that Karnataka does not get its due. The numbers tell a very different story.
The tax devolution to States is decided through the Finance Commission framework.
Between 2014 and 2026, Karnataka received ₹4 lakh crore in tax devolution, nearly five times the ₹82,000 crore received during 2004–14. Along with ₹2.71 lakh crore as grants in aid (2014-26), up from ₹60,000 crore (2004-14).

जब कोई विदेशी ताकत किसी भारतीय की हत्या करे, तो प्रधानमंत्री को बोलना पड़ता है। लेकिन मजाल है जो ये एक शब्द बोल जाएं।
अगले हफ्ते G7 में, हमारे नाविकों की हत्या के बस चंद दिनों बाद, मोदी जी मुस्कुराएंगे, गले मिलेंगे और समझौते करेंगे - मगर, उन तीन भारतीयों के लिए उनके पास एक शब्द भी नहीं होगा।
Compromised PM भारत माता के बेटों की रक्षा नहीं कर सकते, क्योंकि जिन्होंने उन बेटों की जान ली उन्हें नाराज़ करने की इनमें न हिम्मत है, न ताकत।

After Vote Chori and Sarkar Chori - the BJP-EC jugalbandi has finished the contest before it has even begun with Seat Chori.
Look at what happened in the recent Rajya Sabha elections.
Congress candidate Meenakshi Natarajan ji submitted every document. No pending cases. The EC cancelled her nomination on a frivolous BJP objection.
Parimal Nathwani ji, the BJP-backed independent, got his own name wrong on the form and skipped multiple mandatory disclosures. The EC gave him an extension to fix everything.
Same Election Commission. Two candidates. One was disqualified without even a hearing. The other was rewarded despite not following the rules.
When the Congress sought a meeting, the EC first tried to evade us. When we finally met, they did not say one word.
Expect to see much more of this - because for the BJP, it is far easier to fix the election than to win it.
