One of the strategic priorities of @PASAI_HQ is strengthening #PFM through advocating for #SAIindependence. In a workshop led by Benjamin Fuentes Castro of @INTOSAI_IDI , the PASAI Congress explored some of the informal factors that impact SAI independence.

How can SAIs best strengthen audit quality? Great to see insights from SAIs of New Zealand, Fiji, Marshall Islands, the Audit Office of New South Wales and other relevant stakeholders at the 26th PASAI Congress alongside IDI introducing different fit-for-purpose solutions to establish the System of Audit Quality as per revised ISSAI 140 standards.
