A 'Dhoni' is a traditional Maldivian fishing vessel commonly used for pole-and-line fishing. It is a wooden boat with a distinctive design featuring a pointed bow and stern, and a shallow draft which allows it to navigate shallow waters around the Maldives islands. @ipnlfmaldives
