Thanks to @MickBarryTD for raising Trans Pride Cork with An Taoiseach @LeoVaradkar in the Dáil today. This march very much a protest against the rise in anti-LGBT violence, and the lack of healthcare options in Ireland.
It’s important that legislators stand with us🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈
'Activists in attendance will also demand better access to trans healthcare, given that this year Ireland has ranked worst in Europe when it comes to gender-affirming care.'

We must be clear that the LGBTQIA community in Ireland includes our trans and non-binary siblings. We must be clear that we are in solidarity with each other. We must be clear that transphobia will be challenged.
For anyone marching with us at @DublinPride today, we are meeting directly in front of the GPO. One of our volunteers is wearing a straw hat, so should be easy to spot! #DublinPride
We're excited to see you all at @DublinPride this Saturday! If you plan to march with us, please keep an eye on the Bi Ireland social media pages on Saturday morning because we will post the details of our assembly point at (or near) O'Connell Street at 11.30 am. #DublinPride
