Finishing touches now complete on the incredible @HerzogdeMeuron building, @mplusmuseum in Hong Kong is set to open in the Spring. We've been developing the UI for the MEDIATHEQUE, which will launch with over 200 original works of video and media art. dezeen.com/2021/03/16/m-muse…

We created a series of panoramic films for the newly revamped Zephyr exhibition @MSIchicago. A huge 50m projection area displays dynamic animated sequences exploring the visual style of art deco & aerodynamics with an immersive soundscape to create a sense of rhythmic movement.

The Gallery of Lost Art included 20 specially made films featuring curators, conservators and artists explaining how Loss influences artistic work. One of our favourite's was Jake Chapman talking about defacing original Goya etchings. Full films here: linktr.ee/ISODESIGN

8 years ago we were out in Austin to see our immersive online exhibition The Gallery of Lost Art win the SXSW Interactive Award for Art. We faced down some hefty competition from the likes of Disney, Cirque de Soleil and Cindy Sherman @ MoMa.

The exhibition was accessible online for exactly one year, before being destroyed itself! The site attracted over 100,000 visitors from 150 different countries. This was the Tate's first ever online only exhibition and their third most visited show of the year.

The iconic Manhattan hotel, The Waldorf Astoria, is undergoing a $1 billion renovation and restoration project. We were commissioned to create a film installation for the new hotel visitor centre that tells the story of the hotel as a beacon of 20th Century glamour and luxury.

A gallery-like space has been created with 14 screens arranged like framed photographic images. Once visitors are gathered these animate into life creating a single large wraparound experience.

For one of the main sequences we recreated the rising Manhattan skyline of the 1930s as time-lapse style CG animation to show the building's elevation above the island, including the distinctive twin towers at the top and the "Waldorf Grey" limestone cladding.
