Qualcomm just killed full Linux support hopes on Snapdragon X laptops They CLOSED the official GitHub issue for open-sourcing DSP headers with the blunt message:
“No plans to open source DSP headers as of now.” This blocks clean upstream drivers for:
• Camera
• Video decode/encode
• NPU/AI acceleration
• Proper power management Linux still boots… but you’re stuck with half-baked support forever. That’s exactly why TUXEDO Computers canceled their Snapdragon X1 Elite Linux laptop after 18 months — BIOS, fans, KVM, USB4, battery life… all broken. Windows-first confirmed. Reels are coming to PlayStore!
Google PlayStore will soon get an Instagram-like Reels feature called 'Play Shorts'.
Since we all know its Google, I'm expecting 'Play Shorts' will soon feature "ads" as well.
