We played in the Battle For Asgard championship this Monday, defeating top-tier teams like
@IliadEsports in the first match. Immediately after, we secured a win against Intergalactic, considered one of the best teams in NA. In the third match, we unfortunately lost 2-1 in a comeback by CatWOw, sending us to the losers' bracket. It’s worth noting that I had spoken with one of the organizers prior to the tournament, and he even assisted us with the logistics. He was aware that we were an SA (Brazilian) team (
@bryanpenguin1). Since our team wasn’t disqualified before the tournament, we assumed we were eligible to compete. However, in the losers' bracket, we were paired against Paradox, and they issued a direct W.O. against us.
It’s frustrating to rely on these tournaments when there are so few opportunities for our region. That said, I don’t believe playing with 150 ping was the main issue. Regardless, I hope to see more tournaments for our region soon. Our team is incredibly skilled, and we’ve proven ourselves even under challenging conditions.
Let me know if you’d like further adjustments!
