You can see just how compact Bosnia's defensive block is here with just only two subs average defensive actions in the oppositions half. Muhamerovic finished with 21 clearances which despite the early stage I think will be a tough stat to beat.

The two different styles can be seen in the pressing maps with Canada very aggressive all over the pitch but Bosnia waiting to trigger the press just before the half way line

Johnstone's positioning is very high and Canada had a lot of joy down the flanks with Millar and Buchanan so much so that you can see Bajraketarevic was forced back basically into the defensive line.

Another game where a possession dominant team came up against a team looking to sit deep and sit on the counter.Again it was a set piece that unlocked the Canada defence. There was a lot to like about the Canadian performance and they could have had 3pts were it not for Kolasinac

We're under way with a hectic match that saw three red cards. Mexico were a class about South Africa with Quinones, Gutierrez and Jimenez providing the cutting edge and Alvarado impressing off the bench
