"It's not actually going to address the fundamental challenges." @smhbasingstoke has received just over £86,000 from Hospice UK. However, chief executive Iain Cameron told That's TV why the limitations imposed on the money mean it will not stretch far enough.

Great to have @kitmalthouse join us today for an open, frank conversation about the poor state of #EndOfLife funding and the impact of the recent budget on our future
MP @Kitmalthouse met with Iain Cameron, our CEO, and Lorraine Pink, Director of Income Generation, today to find out more about the financial challenges we're facing due to the low NHS funding we receive and the upcoming changes regarding National Insurance.

We're proud to share our staff's dedication to patients and their families: Susan, diagnosed with cancer in summer, couldn't attend her daughter's wedding. The hospice team organised a blessing in the gardens, led by chaplain Karen, creating precious memories. #HospiceCareWeek

This is devastating news. Community hospice services are vital for providing quality, compassionate care at the most difficult times. They also play an invaluable role in easing the pressure on hospitals.
Due to financial pressures, we are sad to announce that we have closed our Hospice at Home service, which provided non-specialist practical support to patients from Health Care Assistants. Our Community Team is still providing its expert clinical support and advice. ❤️ ❤️
