The Prime Minister has guaranteed there will be no change to the GST distribution for WA! The record funding of $5.3 billion delivered to WA from GST receipts this year alone has enabled our State to fund major infrastructure projects, including the Ocean Reef Marina.

A Drone’s-Eye-View of Ocean Reef Marina as Perth’s temperatures soared beyond 40 degrees. Civil construction works are paving the way for further development opportunities, attracting private investment, boosting our local economy, whilst adding lifestyle options.

My team of dedicated volunteers and I were out early this morning, before the temperature could rise into the 40’s. We are spreading the message that $38 million in federal funding is currently being used to widen the Mitchell Freeway between Hodges Drive and Hepburn Avenue. ✅

When is WA Labor going to commit to a new hospital in Perth’s northern suburbs to take the pressure off Joondalup Hospital? Our coastal population is projected to grow at the rate of 10,000 new residents, each year, for the next decade. Forward planning needs to start now!

Did you know that $38 million of Federal funding is being used to widen the Mitchell Freeway southbound between Hodges Drive and Hepburn Avenue? It's fantastic to be out and about waving to residents, letting them know about the good news! 👋

Labor is using every trick in the book to delay this bill and avoid protecting Australians from religious discrimination. The Govt has a mandate from the Australian people to deliver these protections. Labor is moving the goal posts at every turn. bit.ly/3I1bihE

Great to visit the crew at Joondalup Fire Station today. You can make the job for firefighters easier by making sure your property complies with firebreak regulations, especially in urban areas.

I joined WA Transport Minister Rita Safiotti MLA at a press conference today to launch construction of a $65 million grade-separated bridge over Ocean Reef Road at the busy intersection with Wanneroo Road. This will improve the connection between Joondalup and Wanneroo.

On Australia Day, 26 January, we celebrate our national day as Australians, collectively, as one people without division. Let our Australian flag fly higher, larger, and more prominently on flagpoles across our united country.

Great to see cranes on the Joondalup skyline. Construction of the new 90 room Quest apartment hotel on Boas Avenue is well advanced. The M-Group project includes a cafe and is expected to be completed by October this year, adding vibrancy to the Joondalup CBD.
