A man is basically made, and a society that treats unmade men like they're second class citizens is a key input in these outcomes. Also tied to the deterioration of community and such.
The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth, etc etc
I am truly not a fan of what a lot of men become when they have money and know that they're rich. It's almost as though it always ends up becoming a trade for good character and I find that so disgusting!
