We are deeply heartbroken to hear the news about our co-founder @NakovRadislav who sadly passed away today. An inspiration, a friend to so many, a leader, an innovator and someone dedicated to advancing gastroenterology. To our dear friend Radislav RIP

Thanks for highlighting our article. Some great trainee led initiatives out there in gastro. Some European ones in @IbdStudy and national ones like @uk_torch the future seems bright and one we should continue to nurture and support.

Believe in them we do! Trainee initiatives can be a powerful way to unite talent, promote new ideas, Introduce others to research and produce some high quality research.

@uk_torch @OTavabie has done some great work uniting the hepatologists. Sadly for numerous reasons we couldn’t quite achieve this in luminal. European groups such as @IbdStudy shows these things just need the right people to believe in them.
