I love the cold, so very much.
But I'm always going to put a blanket over my body to an extent, when I want to lay down, I won't feel as relaxed without it.
i once read that needing a blanket to sleep, even when it’s warm, can sometimes be connected to self-soothing.
the idea is that the blanket provides more than physical comfort. for many people, it creates a sense of safety and emotional security that helps the body relax.
it’s interesting how objects we barely think about can end up playing such a meaningful role in how we feel.

Somehow, this is how we were raised.
Be as self-sufficient as possible, and make it more convenient to host you, make it feel like an easier choice for them because somehow your presence feels easier.
You contribute somehow, life isn't that heavy on them when you're around.
I can’t stay over at someone’s house for 3 days and not do anything sha. Chores and/or financial contributions. I won’t be comfortable, no matter how close we are.
