Believe Roobroeck to London is dead. Heard that London simply wouldnβt pay even a fraction of the price and Niagara told them to get lost. Roobroeck is in a better spot now that weeks ago and will accept a trade to another option. I believe that option is Peteβs, Ottawa or guelph

Good trade for the leafs. Woll is a middle of the pack starter but with the depth the Leafs have in net why settle for Woll whoβs expensive. I love Andrae I think heβs a second pairing guy. Ersson is a depth goalie with some upside of the leafs can develop him.
Toronto announces it has traded Joseph Woll and Simon Benoit to PHI for Samuel Ersson, Emil Andrae and a third-round pick.

Overall, Great draft by the IceDogs.
They got a superstar in Lappan who will be a cornerstone for the Dogs.
Got two great options in net, One that is a project and Cullen who could start this year.

The best team won this year. Only real contender for that was colorado but the best ability is availability and the avs had tough injuries.

The second 13th round selection for Niagara was Luke Anglesey
Luke is a 6β3 and a half foot tall strong built right defensemen who has strong upside to be a shutdown defender. He didnβt show much offensively but the frame and being a late birthday (September), makes it a good bet

Cooper DesChamp is the IceDogs first selection of the 13th Round.
Another big goalie at 6β6, DesChamp is a good project in goal not only because of his size and ability but also due to him being from Stoney Creek. Good upside player who could feature into the longterm goal.

I really like Kaiser. Heβs someone who stands out when you watch his team play. I wonder if Niagara has some type of deal with Madison because they take both of the tendered players this year along with Tang last year who was tendered. Interesting fun fact.
The second 12th round selection for the Dogs was Center Quinn Kaiser.
One of my sleepers in this draft, Kaiser is a highly skilled center who fell in this draft due to size and being tendered by Madison of the USHL. The IceDogs now have taken both of Madisonβs Tenders.
