I loved the '78 version...when I was 8yo. The reboot exceeded it every way except one. The '78 version killed Rick Springfield in the first ten minutes of the show. That was awesome. But the 2003 version was so much better, and had such superior writing that it's no contest.

2003 was better produced, directed and epic. But 1978 is still my favorite.
