As the recipient of this treatment, I have to confirm it’s real. Pretty much the only thing pre KK I would get complimented on was my extremely good hair. Now I will have people complimenting style (outfit by wife) and also I have gotten hit on out of the blue more.

That Brunson close out finals game is probably 3rd best for me since I’ve really been watching. Could be forgetting some. But Giannis 2021 is #1 for me. Then Bron 2016. Then this.

I guess choke maybe because they were in position to win, but 2007 Lebron was worse (excusable) and 2011 he was incomprehensibly bad. 2011 finals Bron I pretty much pretend doesnt exist it is such a black mark on his resume.
Wemby really choked more in one series than any great player I can remember. Every fourth quarter was ass, throwing ball off teammate, missed free throws, stumbling around with the ball and tossing grenades to his teammates. Gotta cook him for it. Fair is fair.

Spurs are different than '07 Cavs because they were initially favored and in realistic position to win the series, but looking back on that Lebron finals as a 22 year old... 22/7/7 on 35% shooting and 6 turnovers a game. This does give us hope though. I would still bet Wemby
