Agreed. Just created total chaos & confusion.
We’ve been in lockdown a long time. What was announced tonight appears to be only a fractional loosening of the restrictions in place. There’s been a lot of time to prepare this statement. So there is no excuse for the utter chaos over what has and hasn’t just been announced.

I rarely comment on politics here, and avoid publicly siding with one party (all pretty useless at the moment) because no one should give a shit about celebs opinions. But it’s hard to imagine a greater display of inept leadership and muddled thinking then Boris just displayed.

The pile on mentality is consistent and on examination many of the ex police accounts seem to also be fans of Brexit. Yes definitely suggesting the link to rise in hate crime and racism associated with the xenophobic campaign @BameFor Taser use stats meanwhile! #GroundhogDay

**PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY** To the charity walk of 100yr old Dabirul Islam Choudhury during the month of Ramadan, which is an amazing feat of endurance. I’ve known him & his son Atique for almost 30yrs & I’m so proud of their long-standing community work. justgiving.com/fundraising/d…

As F %*# Boris Johnson says “Take it on the chin” “It’ll wash through the population” .. Given his racism stains we wonder what he’s making of the amount of BAME NHS staff dying? #HerdImmunity
As @BorisJohnson says, the Mayor needs to restore the tube network to make it safe. We need to make our public transport safe to those who still need to use it. The Mayor needs to act. Now.

Replying to @team_greenhalgh
@team_greenhalgh The most useless and inept @MayorofLondon candidate in history trying to shift blame to @SadiqKhan is a sad joke. Go wash your hands, sing happy birthday and take it on the chin while your boss is getting away with corporate murder. You numpty!! #HerdImmunity

So...on the day the Govt's top scientific adviser Professor Ferguson quits for twice breaching his own lockdown rules, the Govt minister leading today's new briefing is Robert Jenrick, who also twice breached the lockdown rules. First question, surely: 'Why are you still here?'
