We’re so grateful for our incredible teachers. Even in the summer, they continue to volunteer by attending our annual teacher training to plan and prepare for next year. We’re excited for the year ahead and thankful to have teachers who bring so much heart to this work.

June is PTSD Awareness Month. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness Arizona, PTSD affects about 9 million individuals. It can affect anyone, veterans and civilians alike, after a life-threatening or disturbing event. Listening is where that understanding begins.

The Ironwood Ridge High School Chapter hosted their annual Book Reception on Thursday, April 30th in Oro Valley, AZ. This year, the students preserved the stories of 33 veterans. Thank you Ironwood Ridge for hosting such a memorable and special event!
