I think Scott Kolins artwork for The Flash is one of the best examples on why both lightning AND red blur can work
The lightning isn’t all over the place, and only stems from the gold pieces of the suit. It’s kept as minimal as possible
Absolute Wonder Woman and the new Zatanna both made the top 10 despite barely getting any time to do so, and Absolute Wonder Woman almost made the top 3! Looks like female characters can sell after all, especially when they’re written well.🤷♀️
Annihilation is one of the greatest comic book events ever written, and that’s largely because of Richard Rider’s character arc. He is in my opinion the best Marvel hero of the 2000s.
on august the 19th 2026 thor will be the 7th character in comic book’s history to achieve 800 issues of solo comics “superman, batman, spider-man, wonder woman, flash and hulk” are the only characters to achieve or surpass this impressive feat.
My personal favorite hype and aura moment from Wally West’s Waid Flash run
When I first read the Mark Waid run years ago this was one of the moments that solidified him as my personal favorite Flash
DC has taken a lead over Marvel 2nd quarter in a row in the Market share!
DC's Absolute and DC K.O. lines as well as its Batman series continued to sell well in the first quarter, and the DC/Marvel crossover Superman/Spider-Man #1, a March release, was the top-selling comic of the three-month period in terms of both dollar and unit sales.

I really wish we could see what a Joshua Williamson Flash run could be like unburdened from editorial influence and DC crossovers. It seemed like he had big plans for Wally and Paradox that could never be utilized properly or was completely shot down by a higher power (Didio)
