Over the last 12 years, India has worked to make quality healthcare more affordable and accessible. We feel proud when we are known as the nation with the world’s largest healthcare programme, Ayushman Bharat, which provides top-quality healthcare to the most vulnerable. Other efforts like PM Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana have made medicines affordable. The prices of stents and knee implants have become affordable and this has helped many people. At the same time, medical education has become more accessible to people due more institutions and seats being available. External Affairs Minister @DrSJaishankar concluded a productive visit to Finland (11-12 June 2026), marked by substantive engagements that further strengthened the India-Finland partnership and reinforced India-EU cooperation. At the 14th Kultaranta Talks in Naantali, hosted by President @alexstubb, EAM @DrSJaishankar joined Foreign Minister @elinavaltonen and UAE Assistant Minister for Political Affairs @LanaNusseibeh for a discussion on “Emerging Powers and the New Geopolitical Competition,” highlighting the importance of diplomacy, resilient supply chains, energy security, and strategic partnerships in an evolving global landscape. On the sidelines of the Talks, EAM held bilateral meetings with President @alexstubb and Foreign Minister @elinavaltonen to advance the India–Finland Strategic Partnership in Digitalisation and Sustainability, with a focus on start-ups, AI, semiconductors, critical minerals, quantum technologies, 6G, clean energy, space, trade, and investment. Osallistuin mielenkiintoiseen keskusteluun Suomen ulkoministeri @elinavaltonen ja Arabiemiirikuntien apulaisulkoministeri Lana Nusseibehin kanssa teemalla 'Nousevat vallat ja uusi geopoliittinen kilpailu' tapahtumassa #KultarantaTalks #Finland. ​Huomioin, että käynnissä olevat konfliktit aiheuttavat kuluja ja käynnistävät muutoksia, jotka heijastuvat kauas konfliktialueiden ulkopuolelle. ​Olin samaa mieltä siitä, että kansainvälisen yhteisön on jatkettava toimiaan konfliktien seurausten lievittämiseksi ja diplomaattisten edellytysten luomiseksi. ​Painotin, kuinka tärkeää on vähentää riskejä ja monipuolistaa toimitusketjuja, jotta voimme rakentaa entistä parempaa sietokykyä ja pelivaraa alati epävakaammassa maailmassa. ​Toin jälleen esille, että Intian energiavalintoja ohjaavat kansalliset edut, ja ostot tehdään hintatason sekä saatavuuden perusteella. ​Korostin Intian ja Persianlahden alueen suhteiden ydinroolia, jonka taustalla vaikuttavat tiiviit ihmisten väliset yhteydet, energiayhteistyö ja syvenevä strateginen puolustuskumppanuus. ​Huomioin, että sodankäynnin luonne kehittyy nopeasti: uudet teknologiat, aseet ja taktiikat toimivat rinnakkain perinteisten konfliktien kanssa.
