🚨 Jordi Alba about when Lionel Messi lifted his shirt in front of Real Madrid fans in 2017: 🗣️ "Not many people know why Messi lifted his shirt that night. During the match there were chants and insults directed at Messi, they even called him disabled and a dwarf. Messi didn't find it funny at all." "In the dressing room at halftime he got angry and he told Suárez that these people don't belong in football, they kept doing it in the second half. When Messi scored the winning goal he approached the fans and lifted his shirt. He silenced them all and said: 'remember my name."

These also don't work as advertised, this was a scam by Anduril which managed to steal 2 billion dollars to deliver unusable junk. Tech bro theft like this has to be stopped.
Soldiers said the headsets caused neck strains and headaches during use in the field. The Army spent close to $2 billion on the systems, which will be put in storage. taskandpurpose.com/news/ivas…

Steph Curry says going to dinner on the road is a logistical nightmare that can require 7 phone calls “I don't really go anywhere either, like on the road. I'm pretty much a recluse. I'm in my room, that type of thing. I'm not out in the streets because it's kind of hard to move around at times unless you plan ahead” “You don't want to overcomplicate something simple like, "Hey, we just want to go to dinner in an hour," and I got to make seven phone calls just to make sure you can get where I need to go. I do hate that part of it” “I don't ever take that for granted because I'd rather that than the opposite. But you have to find some balance there for sure. I got to be human at some point and find my peace of mind”

🗣️ Desire Doue on Ousmane Dembélé saying Lionel Messi is the best player he has ever seen: Honestly, I'm not surprised. He talks about Messi more than he talks about his own family." (laughs) But seriously, he speaks about Messi all the time, and I understand why. Everyone has their own football idol and for me, it's Neymar. But that doesn't stop me from appreciating everything Messi has done for the game. What Messi did on the pitch wasn't normal. He influenced football in a way very few players ever have, and anyone who watched him closely understands why so many professionals consider him the greatest they've ever seen. For Ousmane, though, it's about more than football. He's spoken about how Messi stood by him during the difficult moments of his career at Barcelona, especially when he was dealing with injuries. Messi regularly checked on him, asked how his recovery was going, and genuinely cared about his well being. Those are the things people don't always see. Ousmane even said he was surprised that someone who had achieved so much could be that humble and caring. He described Messi as one of the most genuine and special people he has ever met, and admitted that those gestures helped him a lot mentally during one of the toughest periods of his career. So when Ousmane says Messi is the best player he has ever seen, I don't think it's only because of what Messi did on the pitch. It's also because of the person he came to know behind the scenes. Sometimes, the way someone treats you away from football leaves an even bigger impression than what they achieve on it.

Steph Curry says 105 is the most threes he's ever made in a row “I do a game after practice where you shoot five spots around the arc. You start in the corner. The first two are free. If you make them, great. If you miss them, it doesn't matter” “But after the third one, you shoot until you miss in that spot. I try to get to 50 around all five spots. But this particular day, I got to 105 in the first spot. I think I ended up with 140 something in the drill” “So I guess every day, in some way, I have an opportunity to chase it, but I haven't gotten close since. Maybe 60 since then” “I'm thinking 50. That's my goal. If I don't get to 50 over five spots, then I got to start over and do it again. At 40, I'm like, ‘I just got to stay locked in’” “I want to say it was like 10 minutes or so. It's like therapy. It's like meditation. But I got mad at 105. When you miss, your expectations change a little bit”

🚨🎤 Thierry Henry on when Ishowspeed mentioned Portugal as favorite to win the World Cup: 🗣️ “I have no problem with what he said. It was a natural reaction. People support the players they love, that’s football.” 🗣️ “Anyways, people will still say I’m hating on Cristiano Ronaldo because that makes for better headlines.” laughs “That’s why I removed my face at the time, I was just being dramatic.” 🗣️ “If Ronaldo goes on to win the World Cup, then there’s no argument about him being one of the greatest athletes of all time. That achievement would change a lot of conversations.” 🗣️ “But for now, we still have to keep Lionel Messi at the top of that debate. He’s the one with the World Cup, and that matters.” 🗣️ “Don’t get me wrong, I wish every player the best. May the best team and the best player win it.”
