Loved this story. Part of me does think they could’ve pushed the concept even harder of the Axons seeming good and revealed the truth later.
But yeah, I liked The Mind of Evil by the end of it but the Claws of Axos reminded me I love a good monster

Bernice Summerfield: The Curse of Fenman. Was pretty much the evil villain explaining their evil plan for the whole thing. But I did really enjoy it. I liked the answers given and enjoyed finally getting backstories to all the characters.
Felt like a season finale which I love.

Irving was absolutely my favourite part of this, so glad he’s finally getting to shine.

I really liked the idea of this one at first, with a kinda murder mystery feel. And I liked the prison setting. Then it really dragged in the middle. But then it won me back round in the end. That scene when Pertwee and Delgado talk about Bessy is absolutely a highlight

Watching the TVM Making of, it occurred to me that the cancelled Xmas 2026 special is basically New Who’s version of ‘The Dark Dimension’: a big event put together after the end of the series starring old cast members, but cancelled because a new era is being planned #DoctorWho

Bernice Summerfield: HMS Surprise.
Thought this was a bit dull. I like Jack but haven’t warmed to Peter and I don’t think they have much chemistry as a duo.
Feels like we’ve barely gotten any Urving so far this boxset and his presence definitely feels missed.

It was decent enough, Benny is always great and I thought the concept was interesting. Just didn’t quite grip me. 5 or 6 out of 10!

Genuinely insane, like the worst think he possible could’ve done. No one’s gonna want to touch that Billie Piper ending and there’s no way to cleanly wrap it up without a Billie series/special/film. Just glad Big Finish exists so they can try make things somewhat intelligible

Bernice Summerfield: A Handful of Dust. A fun little story but I enjoyed it, thought the setting was interesting and I enjoyed the mystery around the 2 people.
Enjoying Jack a lot which I’m pleasantly surprised about as did not like him from his appearances in Epoch.

Doesn’t yet feel different enough to be a new boxset, feels like it easily could’ve been the fourth story in the Legion one, but yeah I enjoyed it. Looking forward to the rest of the set

Torchwood: From Out of the Rain. Really liked the concept but found this one quite dull. The villains weren’t as interesting as they should’ve been and certain moments didn’t quite hit right. I didn’t hate it (probably 5/10), just found it to be disappointing more then anything

I’m in the less 10 minutes of The Mind of Evil part 4. It’s cool but I was thinking yeah ok I’m ready for this one to end it’s dragging a bit now. Just realised it’s a 6 parter 😔

I actually quite like this. Especially for Doctors with longer runs. More like (first example I can think of) Power Rangers, how it’s one show split into series’ and each one could have multiple seasons.
For me, making Classic Who accessible is big
I would release them by Doctor. Forget season 17, season 14
Simply have First Doctor : Year One. Seventh Doctor : Year Two
If a companion is overhanging, do a quick 30 second recap. But no reboots. EVERY Doctor is season 1 again

My favourite classic Doctor (currently) ! Loads of great stories and his dynamic with Jamie is absolutely one of the best Doctor/companion dynamics in the shows history, possibly my favourite!
