Danhausen’s success is really showing up those AEW fans who claim to be all about the talent & them getting paid but are hating seeing how great things are going for him because it highlights & exposes the failings of AEW & in particular its owner who they can never criticise.

So Meltzer who convinces his followers that he has all these sources, talks to tv ppl, knows numbers others don’t, is reduced to posting on X if anybody at Nielsen can answer his question about numbers. Basically showing his sources on tv stuff is non existent.

I see the AEW fans are making up rumours about CM Punk’s absence because obviously a 48 year old wrestler wouldn’t just have a break after a busy period.

The Khans Fulham football club getting criticised for how they handle departures and showing a complete lack of gratitude for the efforts of those players.
Raul Jimenez has been a very good striker and selfless pro for Fulham in his three years at the club. Cost only £5m, 31 goals in 115 appearances, hard working on the field, also represented the club well off it, great with fans. He’s at the World Cup, still valued by Mexico at 35. Such a respected professional deserves more than the small line in the six-point thanking him and the others “for their service and efforts during their time at Fulham”. Doubtless, the club will have prepared special content celebrating what Raul did for Fulham, how he ran himself into the ground for them, scored some important goals (PL winners this season against Sunderland, Forest and West Ham) and why he is so loved and respected by fans. Raul deserves it. #FFC

Shows exactly what is wrong with the wrestling business today. You got wrestlers out there thinking it should be like the anime or video games they watch FFS.
Say you've never watched DragonBall Z without saying you've never watched DragonBall Z. 👑

This is how AEW fans go out in public and dress like. FFS

Why does anybody in AEW think getting Tony over in interviews is in anyway valuable to AEW? Potential new fan “oh I think I’m going to give that AEW a watch because I keep hearing the owner is such a nice guy”…….said absolutely no fucker anywhere.
Mick Foley talks about his AEW debut at Double Or Nothing. Says that AEW’s backstage energy reminds him of Attitude Era, and how excited Tony Khan is all the time when greeting everyone... compared to WWE where wrestlers used to be petrified to walk through that curtain.

Ah yes right on cue. Only been there one night and already gushing over what a great guy Tony is. Almost like they’re instructed to say it. Been there a few months, ok. Been there 1 night, obviously forced.
Mick Foley reflects on his AEW debut, praises Tony Khan, the talent, the fans, and the backstage culture: “Now there’s nothing wrong with getting a nostalgia pop. I’ve received plenty of those and they feel good. But the reaction I received in New York was different. It was a reaction that said we’re glad you’re here and that I could still make a difference. In no way am I here to throw stones at WWE. I love the company. I always will. I will always be deeply appreciative for every opportunity they afforded me, but there’s something unique about seeing the owner of the company just so obviously happy and excited. Mr. McMahon had a different way of doing things, but it wasn’t that type of joy. And it just seems like to me, the AEW wrestlers are out there and they are playing to win because it is understood that failure is part of the process. I’ve seen so many people over the years almost petrified to walk through that curtain because they didn’t know whether they’d get the thumbs up or the thumbs down figuratively speaking. Tony’s excited. Tony loves what he’s doing. He’s happy to be there and I think that type of enthusiasm makes me feel enthusiastic. After I did my in-ring promo, a couple of the wrestlers on the card said, ‘Hey, so I guess you’ll be taking off?’ And I was like, ‘What am I gonna do? Watch Friends reruns in my hotel room? There’s a show.’ And it wasn’t just a show. It was an amazing show. People were so excited. The energy backstage reminds me of the way WWE felt during the Attitude Era when we were all actively pulling for each other, but we also understood that striking out was part of the process of hitting monumental home runs. So I am really glad to be in a place where wrestlers are encouraged to swing for the fences. Where it’s understood that not every hit’s gonna leave the park. I’m excited about where this adventure’s going to take me. I consider myself like a Swiss Army knife and I can be used a lot of different ways, and I’m just excited about the future and I’m excited about wrestling in a way that I haven’t been in a few years. And I want to thank AEW fans, and the AEW product for helping me fall in love with professional wrestling all over again.” (IG)

And when it flops Dave can make up some bullshit numbers to make it look like it did great.
We need Dennis Quaid as @davemeltzerWON in “The Observer.” A movie about the start of the Wrestling Observer would feed generations of wrestling fans.

Jeff Jarrett who once ran a cash for gold pyramid scheme is criticising others for predatory practices.
Jeff Jarrett is absolutely INCENSED over the new WWE ID program mandates. He is calling out the company for essentially forcing indie wrestlers to surrender their entire creative identity for chump change. The report claims wrestlers must now drop their established indie monikers and use WWE names exclusively. Jarrett argues this is a predatory move by TKO, stripping talent of their leverage for a measly paycheck that barely covers gas. Is this a calculated power play to monopolize wrestling IP or just a total slap in the face to independent grind? (source: My World With Jeff Jarrett @MyWorldPod)

And ppl AND Dave still claim he isn’t biased towards AEW. If Bryan was bigging up an AEW match like this does anybody think he’s trying to butt in and downplay Bryan’s compliments.
Dynamite Dave has a meltdown because Bryan thought @PENTAELZEROM vs. @WWEJeVonEvans was a great match. Dave tries to downplay it, so Bryan recaps the old demented robot the entire match & then suddenly the Bay Area Flip Merchant is critical of "moves matches." 🤸‍♂️

It only just beats WWE’s developmental in ratings and AEW fans come out with nonsense like AEW is currently at WWE 1998 levels of momentum. Fuck, it’s not even back to AEW 21/22 level. Pure delusion with these ppl.
WWE likely won't ever go out of business - but you can't walk away from a show like tonight, and comparatively to TKO's output the last few months, and not completely understand why I continue to say, AEW is in a WWF 98 spot momentum wise, while WWE is sitting at fall 99, WCW.

Message to AEW wrestlers who insist on talking nice about Tony in interviews. Hearing the owner is a great guy won’t sell you 1 more ticket to your PPV, won’t have 1 more person tuning in. Interview time is precious, spend it on stuff that will help you & not Tony’s fragile ego.
.@The_MJF discusses Tony Khan’s evolution as AEW has grown over the years. “He’s become one of the best minds in wrestling, man, and he’s been a great leader. You can talk all the shit you want about him — why, I don’t know — because he gave you an alternative, so you wouldn’t have to keep eating one type of food. You have options now. I don’t know why anybody would be mad about options.”

No it’s not and I hope he never returns to wrestling. He’s the Aubrey Edwards of commentary.
Always great to see and hear Mauro Ranallo on commentary. legend. #wwe #RouseyCarano #DiazPerry #NgannouLins

Jon thinks in 2026 if WWE wanted to leak a negative story about AEW and its potential tv deal they’d leak it to the biggest defender of Tony, AEW, its future and previous tv deal. Because obviously WWE would be so short of potential journalists to leak to. 🙄
Brother. They talk to a lot of people. How many times do I need to say this? Just not everyone will choose to run something. He chose to run it. That’s his choice.

Oh so now Alba’s excuse is that other journalists were probably leaked the story too, they just chose not to because obviously journalists don’t care about views, clicks and attention or doing something that the market leader asked them to do as a favour. FFS 😂

Alba so desperate to defend Meltzer saying it must be true because WWE leak stuff to journalists. Yes they do, but they have their choice of wrestling/entertainment journos to leak to. In 2026 Dave wouldn’t even be in WWE’s top 10 of choices to leak to.
No, it’s called knowing who talks from doing the job. WWE higher-ups routinely talk to media. It’s just a matter of who chooses to run stuff. You both are completely out of your own arena here.

AEW fans are just listing a load of unique looking venues hoping the visual distracts from the low attendance.
Found another really old, really neat looking arena that AEW should run. Built in 1936, the Hersheypark Arena hasn't hosted a Wrestling show since 2013, and is also a town that AEW has yet to debut in
