Biden's newest budget calls for a 44.6% federal rate on investment income and other earnings, per Bloomberg.
The plan also calls for taxing assets when an owner dies, ending a benefit that allowed the unrealized appreciation to go untaxed when transfered to an heir.

My brain fog from Long Covid has nearly disappeared. Legs still shake and sleep patterns chaotic but I can think clearly again. Can’t run or lift but honestly wgaf. Thinking is more fun anyway.

Manuscript creeping back to 70k after 8k of cuts. With remnants and outline in my head likely in the 77-80k range for second draft. The momentum is real.

Cut the remnants and notes and mindless drivel at the end of my manuscript and it was only subtracted 7k words. I thought it'd be more. The rewriting and editing begins. I think this is going to be the best spring ever.

Hit 70k this morning and timed it out with the antagonist’s ending. Three more chapters and the book’s rough draft is complete. Started August 1. Writing in morning before kids get up. Last July honestly near death. Never take anything for granted.
