Ten years on from Brexit there are still no rules to prevent lies in election ads. We’ve tabled amendments to stop election ads like the infamous Brexit bus misleading voters again. Email your MP and ask them to sponsor them. It takes 1 minute. 👇 reformpoliticaladvertising.o…

More good stuff and so much more to be done if Labour would unite around the PM .

📢 Big news: UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, has announced landmark new government plans to treble the amount of surplus food made available for redistribution in the UK. The move aims to tackle both food waste and food poverty at a time when many households continue to face cost of living pressures. Our CEO, Catherine David, has welcomed the announcement: “The Prime Minister’s announcement of a national programme to treble the redistribution of surplus food to people and communities across the UK is a vital step forward. WRAP supports the organisations on the front line of this critical work, as well as the incredible work of the King’s Coronation Food Project. "I’m delighted WRAP was part of the discussions helping to shape this national ambition. Redistribution has a critical role to play, supporting stretched households while reducing the enormous financial and environmental cost of good food going to waste. We must also recognise the huge opportunity to prevent food waste from happening in the first place, particularly in our homes. Home is where most of the UK’s food waste occurs, which can cost a family of four an average of £1,000 – and we know that over 70% of people are worried by rising food prices. "At a time when households are under growing financial pressure, tackling household food waste is one of the most immediate ways we can help people save money, strengthen food security and build resilience for the future. "Today, with supply chains straining under geopolitical disruption and the cost of living continuing to rise, we must treat food as the precious resource it is. We cannot afford, economically, environmentally or socially, for wasting food to remain the norm. Whether in the fields, factories, shops, restaurants or our own kitchens, reducing food waste must become a shared national effort. “As our world becomes an ever more unpredictable place, wasting food is a cost we can no longer afford to ignore and we are talking with key partners in government, the food sector, the media, philanthropists and innovators to tackle the food bills crisis in people's homes. We call on all partners to step forward and step up their efforts in the weeks and months ahead.”

Oh what a tangled web they weave... Farage now admits he bought the Clacton house, having told everyone last year that his partner Laure Ferrari bought the house.

Understand this. Keir Starmer is an existential threat to the dark forces who are trying to tear down our democracy and replace it with fascism, for their own profit. The more he achieves, the more the hysterical attacks will grow. THINK !.

Rayner cleared of wrongdoing, the economy is booming and Starmer sticks it to Trump, Musk and now the entire media. Strong leader, strong economy, weak enemies.

Rayner has been cleared, but the media ran 30 front pages in total, averaging 4 front pages a day during the peak of the story. Farage's £5 million gift has had two front page stories. Why would there be such a difference in reporting standards for the two?

If Farago and Johnson really took large bribes to fiddle the results of a general election - isn’t that a crime ! Repost if you would like to see a police investigation - and/or a prosecution for Misconduct.

Angela Rayner was dragged through every front page for weeks... HMRC's verdict: NOT deliberate. NOT even careless. Farage pockets £5 million and chooses not to declare it So where's the wall-to-wall coverage? Tell me this isn't a rigged game.

This Labour government has the right economic plan. The choices we have made mean our economy is in a stronger position, as we deal with the costs of conflict abroad.

I seem to have upset the @Nigel_Farage fan club - so let me be clear. This man sows hate, lies and division. He is a grifter and a conman. He does not represent the vast majority of Britons. RT if you agree P.s. multiculturalism is great.

I hope the BrItish media takes a long hard look at the chaos they have happily helped to cause. I've lived a long life & never before seen such a disgraceful attack on a legitimate Government & even worse the whipped up hatred of a PM.
