This was word on Allegheny County Dem Committee a few years ago. Then, they added a bunch of new members through grassroots organizing, purged/sidelined the Trump supporters in their ranks, and now Allegheny County was one of only large urban counties not to move right in 2024

With Allegheny County essentially having identical 2020 and 2024 voting margins, interesting that the county’s October proposal to increase property taxes had essentially no impact on the elections. Voters seemed to understand that the proposal wasn’t related to bigger races

Across the street, Allegheny County has opened up a satellite voting center where people can register to vote and fill out and turn out in a mail in ballot all at one site. Its the county's version of over the counter voting. Follow @mgswift7 for more updates

Allegheny County Voters, listen up! Satellite Election Offices are coming: Tues-Thurs in Oakland, you can register to vote and "over the counter" vote at Soldiers & Sailors from 8-4. Then the next 2 weekends we'll have offices at CCAC-Homewood, North Park and South Park, 9-5.
