I cannot stop thinking about Marathon's runners. It's the first of these kinds of shooters to really acknowledge and run with the uncanny disposability of playing a specific, distinct, living "character" in a purgatory of infinite cyclical death.

I fixed the horrendous character design in @MarathonTheGame without even trying. One request to they improved. If I worked on each character for 2 hours (MAX!) they would be immaculate.
There's no excuse for what they released. None.

I'm at 60 hours in and @MarathonTheGame just keeps getting more fun. A PvP game has not made me feel this way in years. I think it's the fast TTK abilities where few of them do damage unbeatable Bungie weapon feel a PvP map designed like a dungeon

People keep asking me what the "meta trio" is, and I can't give them a straight answer. Eve if you are tryharding, what gets you the highest extract % is gonna be so different from squad to squad and is so based on your different learned experiences across multiple games
