Capped off a productive day teaching myself some basic astrophotography.
-I only saw 3 meteors in 2 hrs.
-I managed to capture none of them.
I’ll be the first to admit my pictures are amateurish. But it’s fun to try new things without the fear of failure.

Today is my final day of employment at WPI.
Tomorrow I will be a “free agent” & unemployed for the 1st time since 2006.
I'll miss my team at WPI but I'm excited to seek out an exciting opportunity for the next chapter in my career.

Honestly this is a hard piece to read.
I have seen so many talented friends & colleagues leave the field for their health & wellness, alone. Pile on the other reasons & it’s a talent crisis.
Higher ed is unable to replenish these roles with the speed & expertise necessary.

Last year, I saw a call for judges & was excited to volunteer (and of course represent @WPI 🐐) & recognize the great work & preparation of these local high school students.
Excited to be back as a judge!
