The Pier has power! After all the setbacks, we finally have had the electrical meter installed and we are lit up again Thanks to @EON_SE_en , our electrician David Clark and @ssencommunity for all the hard work that was put in to allowing the pier to have power again. #inveraray

Thank you to everyone who attended the reopening of the Pier. It was a truly special day to finally be able to walk on the cobblestone in the sunshine and it was fantastic to see boats, canoes and swimmers using the pier for its intended purposes.

After a decade or more of decay and being fenced off, Inverary pier has been re-opened by a vigorous community group. The local pipe band kicked off the celebrations. And the sun shined on Bonnie Argyll.
