It's amazing to see our students achieving top grades across such a broad curriculum - this year's cohort have been challenged in subjects such as Further Maths, Astronomy, Latin and Classical Greek, with some studying in co-curricular time to gain these extra qualifications.

What a morning with our wonderful Year 11 students! We are celebrating a sweep of outstanding high grades this #GCSEResults Day. Almost 40% of all examination entries at THS were awarded the highest possible grades 9-7 (A**-A).

Following on from my tweets yesterday, if you want a recruit a physicist you *have* to make the role attractive.
The last time I had to recruit, I made the benefits of working in my department very clear. We had *fifteen* candidates which is almost unheard of.
