Alberta's strength isn't just in our resources, it's in our people, our innovation, and our vision for a self-reliant future. We've built an economy that powers not just us, but the entire country, pouring in $20-25 billion net annually through federal taxes and transfers, far outpacing what comes back. That's billions we've earned through world-class energy development, attracting skilled workers from every corner of Canada to our rigs and fields, where collaboration creates prosperity for all involved. Yet, federal meddling has held us back: projects like Northern Gateway and Energy East were scrapped due to endless regulations and opposition, costing us market access and jobs. Even TMX, with its $34 billion price tag ballooning under federal ownership, was a taxpayer-funded bailout, much of it from our own contributions, while delays and overruns hurt everyone. Independence means controlling our pipelines, our exports, and our destiny, without begging for approvals or subsidizing the rest of the country. And let's not forget our agricultural might: Alberta leads Canada with $22 billion in farm revenues, dominating in beef, canola, wheat, and more, employing over 80,000 and exporting $17.7 billion globally. We feed the nation and the world, with room to grow and diversify without carbon taxes or red tape stifling innovation. As for our land and heritage: Alberta's sovereignty would honor treaties and partnerships with First Nations, building on shared histories where resources like bitumen have been vital for generations. True freedom means negotiating as equals, not under Ottawa's thumb. The naysayers ignore the facts: We've given $285 billion net since 2007, yet get blocked at every turn. Time to keep our wealth, invest in our people, and thrive independently. Petitions are surging, join the momentum. #StayFreeAlberta #AlbertaIndependence

Persian woman says voting for Donald Trump was “the best decision of my life” after the Iran strike “I have been in this country for 26 years. I never voted for anybody, no president, because I didn't believe in none of them. Not Democrats, not Republicans. I didn't vote for any of them. The only time I voted was last election. I voted for Mr. Trump and I think I did the best decision in my life, not as my vote was important, but for me, I think it was the right decision to trust somebody who wanted to do the right things for 80 million people If you American live in this country and you hated him, or you hate him, I don't know about you, but for us, for 80 million people, he did the right things. I am so proud of him. I am so proud of being an American, and I just pray for him and his family. He rescued 80 million people after 47 years” “We are not Arabs. We are Persians and Persians are proud of their civilization. We get our country back, we get our civilization back, and we are gonna fix this country. I just wanna say thank you, thank you, thank you, Mr. Trump. God bless America, and God bless my country. Thank you.”

This I can get behind, all provinces and states in North America need to follow suit. Saskatchewan, now BC.
When we turn the clocks ahead on March 8, it will be the last time change ever for BC. We're changing to a permanent daylight saving time, simply called Pacific Time (PT). Learn more: News.gov.bc.ca/33415

PENSIONS STOLEN. 30 BILLION of our hard earned CPP dollars shipped overseas to India while Canadian infrastructure crumbles, housing stays unaffordable, and retirees scrape by. This isn't diversification. This isn't what we voted for. This is betrayal dressed up as 'global opportunity.'
🚨 BREAKING: Out of nearly $2 TRILLION in total assets, Canadian pension funds (under the advice of Mark Carney) have funnelled roughly $100 BILLION into India — with about $30B coming directly from CPP Investments alone.

Absolute legend with that sign, brother - bold, clear, and 100% on point. 👏🪧 Shame on you @City_of_Airdrie for the blatant double standard: letting 'Forever Canadian' set up shop inside the library for months, but slamming the door on Alberta independence petitioners. Hypocrisy like that erodes trust and fuels the very movement you're scared of. Fix it. Fair is fair. 🇦🇧 #AlbertaIndependence

Mark Carney lives in New York. He's an Ottawa MP, which basically makes him a temporary foreign worker. Matt Jeneroux lives in Victoria, BC. He announced his resignation back in November, and hasn't worked a day as an MP since then. They both flew to Edmonton, as a theatrical show of unity towards Albertan. They did a press conference with a handful of photographers and then both returned to their respective homes. Neither of them care about Alberta or Albertans.
